After the last 20 years of working taxidermy as a sideline to our other careers, the time has come to bring our passion for the taxidermy business to full time. With Matt newly retired from his guiding business and Lisa having sold her seafood business, Plans for the new studio turned into a reality! It hosts a spacious work environment and a beautiful gallery area which showcases Matt’s personal trophies and a continuously changing display of our client's projects as they are completed. Stop in and see us sometime!
I bring over 35 years of taxidermy experience to the Kenai Peninsula. As a graduate of Mountain Valley School of Taxidermy, I specialize in Birds and Mammals. My passion for this trade is fueled by participation in numerous World Taxidermy shows and competitions, as well as the challenge of creating memorable trophies for my clients. It’s been my honor to learn from outstanding leaders and teachers in the industry such as Bob Barry & Billy Ollie, both blue ribbon winners at the Master's level of competition!
I bring 25 years of Business Management Skills to our studio. It’s my job to manage our customer receipts and profiles. I track all the moving parts and pieces throughout the process and work as Matt’s second set of hands in bringing the creative design elements together.
